Kingston Polytechnic College, Kolkata, formerly known as KPC, is an engineering college founded in 2004 in Kolkata, India. Students can pursue degree programs in Engineering & Technology and polytechnic at the college. 

The college has been affiliated with the West Bengal Council of Technical & Vocational Education and Skill Development. The college also provides courses approved by AICTE (All Indian Council of Technical Education).  

Several Polytechnic Engineering specializations are available through the Institute. The KPC Kolkata admits students based on their JEXPO scores. In their fields of expertise, KPC faculty members are highly qualified and experienced. By administering the Kingston Scholarship Test, the Institute provides scholarships based on merit.

Entrance Exams for Kingston Polytechnic College, Kolkata Diploma Admission 2023

Students who have appeared for JEXPO 2022, or other state-level entrance exams can apply for diploma admissions. 

Every year, the West Bengal State Council of Technical Education organises the JEXPO admission test. JEXPO is a state-level entrance test that allows students to get admission to diploma programmes in West Bengal. JEXPO, or the Joint Entrance Examination for Polytechnics, is an examination for admission to diploma programmes in engineering, technology, and architecture.

  • JEXPO will be held in an offline format.
  • The question paper will be accessible in both English and Bengali.
  • The examination will consist of multiple-choice questions.
  • The examination will consist of 100 questions in total.
  • The exam will take two hours to complete.
  • One point will be granted for each correct response. 0.25 points will be removed for each incorrect answer.
